Comment: I was recommended here by citizens advice, on the only call the lawyer said to me that i was going to inherit, so i could afford a lawyer (in as many words) should have been a red flag as my issue was i could lose the inheritance without swift action. After this i sent information to prepare for a consult, thinking i would get a call about it (my situation was urgent) no call. I called on Friday and said i no longer needed their services and the reception said that was fine as i wasn\'t fully in their books, 30 min later i get an email about their cost which I could not afford and so i told them this as i needed to get legal aid etc as our family had had food packs last year (i disclosed this in the email). then i get a letter saying id be charged for 1/2 a letter of recommendation for half price - $350 so 2 hrs it took to write half a letter. Then after the weekend i get this half a recommendation and the invoice. Meanwhile another lawyer at another firm has done 3x more work, a better answer and set in motion steps for me and they did all this in 1hrs face to face consultation! So if anyone gets to see this, don\'t go here, look around first and don\'t get caught out paying heaps for nothing of value and look out for the red flags!
